TALL (teaching and learning lunchtime) Seminars

Each school year, the C.A.F.E. presents a series of one-hour lunch hour seminars to provide faculty and staff interesting and interactive sessions on teaching and learning issues. Speakers include internal and external experts who present research and tips on innovative classroom practices or other topics of interest to faculty.

Previous topics include: Why Smart Students Fail, Group Work in Multicultural Classrooms, Teaching the ESL Student, Concept Maps for Learning, and Engineering Teaching Strategies.

TALL Seminars provide faculty and staff the opportunity to acquire some information and skills as well as engage in discussion with their peers.

Bring your lunch and your questions, and share with your colleagues the latest innovations in teaching and learning. Watch the training calendar for the next seminar.
